2. What data we process and why
We process personal data in the following situations:
- Contact form and vehicle enquiry form — we process your name, e‑mail address, phone number, optionally your company name and tax ID, and the content of your message. The data is used solely to answer your enquiry, prepare an offer and handle the transaction (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps prior to entering into a contract, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in handling correspondence).
- Phone and e‑mail contact — data provided during a call or in correspondence is processed to handle the matter you approach us with (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Conclusion and performance of a vehicle sale or service contract — to the extent required by law, including tax and accounting regulations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
- Server logs — technical information such as IP address, date and time of the request and browser type is recorded automatically by the hosting server to keep the Website secure and working correctly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Data retention
- form and correspondence data — for the duration of the correspondence and then until potential claims become time‑barred,
- contract-related data — for the period required by law (as a rule, 5 years from the end of the tax year),
- server logs — according to the hosting provider’s policy, usually no longer than 12 months.
4. Data recipients
Personal data may be entrusted to providers whose services we use to run the Website and our business, only to the extent necessary: the hosting provider, e‑mail service provider, accounting office and — when performing a contract — financing institutions (leasing, credit) indicated by the customer and transport companies. Data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Your rights
In connection with the processing of your personal data you have the right to:
- access your data and obtain a copy of it,
- rectify (correct) your data,
- request erasure of your data,
- request restriction of processing,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- data portability,
- lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00‑193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl).
To exercise these rights, please contact us at biuro@zachoszcz.pl.
6. Voluntary provision of data
Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to answer an enquiry sent through a form or to conclude and perform a contract.
7. Cookies and external services
The Website uses only essential cookies required for it to function properly (e.g. form handling, remembering the selected language version). We do not use marketing cookies or tracking tools.
- Google Fonts — the Website loads font files from Google servers (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com); this connection transmits your IP address to Google. Details: policies.google.com/privacy.
- Google Maps — the “Get directions” button leads to the external Google Maps service, which applies its own privacy policy.
- Embedded content — articles on the Website may include embedded content (e.g. videos), which behaves as if you visited the website it comes from.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; this may, however, affect some Website features.
8. Automated decision-making
Personal data is not used for automated decision-making, including profiling.
9. Changes to this privacy policy
This privacy policy may be updated as the Website evolves or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page. Last updated: 19 August 2026.
